Many workplaces are incorporating massage therapy as part of employee health and wellbeing programs. Recent research* shows that workers with good health and lifestyle habits:
- take less sick leave
- are more satisfied with their performance
- perform more effective working hours each month
What are the benefits of corporate massage?
Massage therapy has been shown to have positive effects on a number of work-related conditions including:
- reduces inflammation in joints and soft tissue
- improve flexibility
- relieves muscle tension
- improves circulation
- reduces stress and anxiety
In general, company loyalty and satisfaction improve when health and well being programs are introduced.
What can I expect at a corporate massage therapy session?
Untie the Knots Massage & Natural Therapies can provide Workplace Massage at your offices between 9am and 4pm week days.
Our on-site services can be tailored to suit your needs such as seated massages of up to 15 minutes where staff remain fully clothed and receive their massage on an ergonomically designed massage chair. The sequence incorporates relaxation and trigger point therapy targeting neck, shoulders and arms. This can be set up in a ‘relaxation room’ and can include soothing background music and fragrant aromatherapy oils, for a truly relaxing experience. Alternatively seated massages can also be set up mid office to ensure everyone sees the benefits.
Alternatively, a massage table can be set up in a private room and staff can take advantage of 20 to 60 minutes sessions where oil is applied to the skin and deeper remedial techniques applied. 30 minute sessions generally provide enough time to focus on a specific area of concern, while a 60 minute treatment ensures the whole body will be addressed.
Staff at Untie the Knots Massage & Natural Therapies will liaise with your designated contact person to arrange individual appointments for the day, or arrangements can be made to use an on-line booking system.
